Tim Neilson

Tim Neilson is a Melbourne based guitarist, composer and musician who has been playing in the local music scene since 2006.

He has worked in two major projects Palace Flophouse (2006-2009), a heavy blues band, and The Death Rattles (2011-2014) a country rock and roll outfit with which he released a self titled album. Both these bands saw Tim playing around the local Melbourne music scene from The Old Bar, Public Bar and Revolver to the Corner Hotel. Since 2012 Tim has been playing as a solo act performing his own style of folk storytelling originals. This has seen him supporting the likes of Cash Savage and The Last Drinks in Melbourne and interstate.


Now in the process of creating his debut album Tim has taken his solo style performance and is adding a full band with electronic instruments to create his own unique style of storytelling. With a release date to be announced early 2016.
